A few months ago we were just getting into this strange new way of life due to the pandemic.
Since I had to cancel all plans of going to visit my family to celebrate upcoming birthday’s, I had to mail the presents instead. A week later I received a message on Facebook from someone I did not know, who ended up with the package I had mailed, inside of her box that was delivered. As crazy of a scenario that it is, we figured out that her box had clearly ripped open and was taped back together, with my small package stuffed inside unknowingly. She took the time to find me on Facebook, notify me and bring the package promptly to the post office and explained what had happened. Maybe not so many people would go out of their way to get a stranger’s package delivered. Since we had been messaging each other on Facebook, she noticed my earrings and complimented me about them. I said thank you and gave my website info, not at all expecting anything. After telling my mom about the story, she suggested that I send her a pair as a thank you for doing a such a nice thing for us! So I asked her to pick out a pair from this site and sent them out! She look’s fabulous in them as well! We decided to share our story with the hopes of inspiring more random acts of kindness, especially in such strange times. We since have stayed in contact and are friends from across the country.
