Thrift stores are great for finding random display objects to re use.
Having another set of eyes that are not used to your space and medium is very helpful for creating new display ideas.
I save most little bits in case they can become something else.
Zebra wood earrings I made myself about 8 years ago. One of 3 pairs I have kept for myself.
